Team Lead - Shift Lead

• Pay = $25 an hour
• Hours = 2nd shift hours = 2:45pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday
• Location = Manitowoc
• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MANUFACTURING LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE!!

This is a great full-time, temp to hire opportunity if you have 2-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience and light mechanical ability. 

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

1. Direct/coach/mentor assigned assembly team to assist in meeting performance metrics.
2. Responsible for safety, quality, service (delivery), and cost (OEE, scrap, and labor.)
3. Develop, maintain, and improve pre and postproduction checklists detailing steps to startup, run, and shutdown of line.
4. Visual confirmation of items by position at line start up.
5. Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot machines.
6. Perform quality checks in production per QC paperwork.  Note trends in variation and take corrective and preventative actions.
7. Clean and sanitize work area, setup (changeover), and start production.
8. Maintain the master downtime for the team.
9. 5S work area (end of shift and end of week deep cleaning.
10. Perform Preventative Maintenance on filler area equipment and conveyors.
11. Shutdown equipment at end of shift.
12. Cross train with material handlers.
13. Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in manufacturing
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Proficient in basic math.
• Helpful to have some Assembly experience
