Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician III for Froedtert Health located in Milwaukee, WI.

 

****A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required.****

What You'll Do:
  • Formal training and preferred experience servicing clinical equipment
  • Experience in a healthcare facility or healthcare setting
  • Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as, but not limited to:  Servo U, I, V60s, Trilogy EV300 Ventilators (or other manufacturers),   GE Anesthesia or Training (Draeger, etc.), OR exp., Defibrillators, IV Infusion Pumps, Telemetry preferred.
  • Leadership experience with mentoring. 
  • Proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot
  • Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills: ability to provide world class service to healthcare customers

What You Bring:
  • Preferably 7-10 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology- HTM/ Biomed setting
  • Basic knowledge of networking theory
  • Considerable knowledge of electronic circuitry and technical aspects of the operation, repair and maintenance of electronic equipment
  • Substantial knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and illustrated parts drawings of biomedical instrumentation and skill in testing electronic equipment as well as in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
