About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to join their healthcare team. The CMO will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, quality healthcare in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a focus on strategic planning, care management programs, and the oversight of various medical departments. This role involves providing leadership in the implementation of care management programs, monitoring management practices, and acting as the primary liaison between administration and the medical staff. The CMO will also be involved in professional organizations, ensure the development and implementation of medical staff policies, and participate in all initiatives related to patient safety, quality, and risk management. Candidates for the Chief Medical Officer position at the company must have an MD or DO from an accredited medical school, with a current NJ medical, CDS, and DEA license, and active board certification. An advanced management degree is desired. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in physician leadership, with a background in a health system or major medical group known for excellence in clinical care. Business and clinical leadership skills are essential, including experience in PCMH accreditation processes, managed care, and health policy. The CMO should be a superior clinician with a strong management and executive background, capable of fostering a collaborative environment and leading the medical staff in alignment with the organization's strategic and clinical priorities.
