About the Role
A well-established hospital in southeast Georgia is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide strategic leadership and oversee all nursing operations. Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership and direction for all nursing and clinical services.
- Partner with the executive team to align nursing operations with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and develop nurse leaders, ensuring high engagement and retention of nursing staff.
- Drive patient safety, quality, and satisfaction outcomes across the hospital.
- Maintain survey readiness and compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact state).
- 7+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a senior executive or CNO role.
- Strong understanding of rural healthcare operations and critical access hospital regulations.
- Proven track record of improving patient outcomes and building high-performing nursing teams.
