We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team in Nashua, New Hampshire. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, growing organization by managing collections and payment posting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling high-volume cash applications and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming and outgoing collections calls to ensure prompt payment resolutions.
• Accurately apply cash to customer accounts and process high-volume cash receipts.
• Handle wire transfers, checks, and credit card payments with precision and efficiency.
• Monitor and track daily deposits, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Retrieve remittance data and address vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update customer files to ensure complete and accurate data integrity.
• Contact customers regarding past-due amounts and document all communications in the system.
• Record customer payments accurately in financial reports and reconcile discrepancies as needed.• Proven experience in commercial collections and credit management.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounts receivable processes and cash applications.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent communication skills for handling customer and vendor inquiries.
• Ability to manage high volumes of transactions with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain data integrity and meet deadlines.
