The Bartender/Server role is filled by a person who comprehends, believes in, works and manages from the Culture, Goals and Guidelines outlined in the Bellina handbook. Our core values include:

Qualifications

• Previous from scratch craft bartender experience

• Previous barista experience

• Welcoming and hospitable demeanor, excellent verbal communicator

• Ability to process and complete tasks quickly and efficiently

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at once, manual and mental dexterity

• Alcohol and Food handling, sanitation and safety knowledge

• Basic technology skills

Duties

• Provide hospitable and knowledgeable service while suggestively selling from the menu

• Produce all beverages, alcoholic and non alcoholic according to recipe specs, insuring quality and proper presentation

• Set up, break down and stock the bar and coffee bar, maintaining visual appeal of both

• Follow prep list assignments preparing mixes according to recipe before shift

• Ring all purchases, follow accurate cash handling procedures and balance drawers at end of the shift

• Assist expeditor with drink production when necessary

• Practice acceptable food handling and safety procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area including washing and polishing of glassware

• Know and practice proper alcohol liability procedures
