Job Overview
At Jahabow, we create innovative solutions that turn conceptual designs into high-quality products for our customers. We are seeking a  Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing and improving our engineered products.

Responsibilities:

• Transform conceptual designs into detailed product designs using  SolidWorks
• Generate CAD models and drawings to guide vendors in producing components
• Create accurate bill of materials, work instructions, and technical documentation
• Perform performance testing and document results, recommending improvements to processes or fixturing
• Collaborate with production and sales to ensure timely completion of projects
• Coordinate with outside vendors for prototyping and new product development
• Perform hands-on design review and testing as needed
• Follow established engineering standards and best practices
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
• Understanding of product development and design
• Machining experience is a plus

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in  SolidWorks
• Experience with  ERP systems
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Creative problem-solving and ability to generate new ideas
• Familiarity with processing of wood, metal, vacuum forming, injection molding, blow molding, steel stamping, and forming is a plus
