Fullstack Engineer (Python, React)

About the Role

Our client is an intensely ambitious, hyper-growth AI startup that is completely rebuilding the foundation of the world’s largest industry: Insurance Claims Processing . They achieved six-figure ARR in just three months and raised a highly oversubscribed $3.8 million seed round from top-tier investors. Their team comes from elite global AI labs (Oxford, Cambridge, ETH Zurich).

They are seeking a Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend focus and clear signals of technical excellence. This role is defined by total ownership —you will be expected to ship features end-to-end and solve every problem, from core infrastructure design to direct client integrations for AI use cases.

What You'll Do

• Ship from Day 1: Deploy to production on your very first day and take full responsibility for your code quality and delivery.
• Full Ownership: Create specs, design solutions, and build features end-to-end without constant guidance.
• Solve Every Problem: Tackle diverse challenges including deploying AI use cases with customers, designing core infrastructure, scaling the codebase, and even contributing to hiring.
• Drive Customer Impact: Work hands-on with clients to integrate solutions, iterate quickly based on feedback, and deliver measurable business results.

• 1+ years of experience as a software engineer at a top-tier company or quant firm.
• Strong backend focus with demonstrable technical excellence.
• Must be aligned with their values of Ambition, Performance (speed/efficiency), and Ownership.

• Salary: $150K - $200K (Flexible and can go higher for more tenured candidates).
• Equity: 0.1% - 0.3%
• Visa Sponsorship: Available.
• Work Policy: Fully on-site in their San Francisco office, operating under a 9-9-6 schedule (Longer hours, six days a week).
