Position: Full-Time Housekeeper (Kid-Friendly)
Location: Upper East Side, NYC (with summers in the Hamptons optional)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – Evening (exact hours to be confirmed)
Compensation: $35–$40/hour
A warm, active Upper East Side family with three bright, loving children (ages 14, 10, and 5) is seeking a full-time Housekeeper who genuinely enjoys being around kids. The family has recently relocated back to NYC from Miami and is looking for someone who can bring positive energy, reliability, and a homemaker’s touch to their home. This role is best suited for someone bubbly, proactive, and flexible—able to balance household tasks with being present and engaged with the children when they’re home.
Morning routine support: Arrive by 7 AM to help get children ready and out the door for school.
Housekeeping (daytime):
Daily tidying, laundry (significant volume), making beds, organizing, and maintaining a clean, orderly home.
Fill in the gaps between the work of deep cleaners.
Cooking & food prep:
Prepare healthy, allergy-conscious meals and snacks.
Provide after-school snacks and occasional family-friendly dinners.
Child-related support:
Walk children to and from activities.
Oversee homework and ensure children are focused and settled after school.
Engage and interact with the kids in a fun, positive way (not just a quiet presence).
Flexibility:
Support parents who are in and out throughout the day.
Step in as a true homemaker to fill household needs as they arise.
Prior housekeeping experience in a private home.
Kid-friendly, energetic, and engaging personality—someone who can connect with children and contribute to a lively household.
Strong cooking skills and ability to prepare meals for children with food allergies.
Excellent English communication skills.
Flexible, proactive, and dependable.
Ability to travel to the Hamptons during the summer (live-in option available) OR take summers off.
