Hugo’s Family Marketplace has immediate opportunities for Part Time Xpress Associate at our Fosston Gas Station.
As a Hugo’s Xpress Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. Your responsibilities will include dispensing fuel, processing transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and addressing customer inquiries. You will be expected to adhere to safety protocols and regulations while delivering prompt and courteous service to all patrons.
Salary Range: $11.13 - $14.00/hr (based on experience).

Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense fuel accurately and efficiently.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems to process transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including fuel pumps, restrooms, and convenience store area.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
• Assist customers with inquiries, including providing information on fuel types, prices, and promotions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including handling hazardous materials and maintaining emergency procedures.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
• Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer service, safety, and security.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to operate cash registers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to fuel handling is an advantage.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Manual dexterity for operating equipment and handling fuel nozzles.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
