Job Description

Our client, a leading Automotive manufacturing organization specializing in die casting, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor 5

Location: Bedford, IN

Pay Range: $38-41 per hour

What's the Job?

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Review operations and collaborate with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, tracking systems, and quality control procedures to detect and address production problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and resolve personnel issues, maintaining accurate reports and records.

What's Needed?

• Manufacturing experience, particularly with die casting processes.
• Union experience is preferred.
• Technical background with knowledge of machines, tools, and maintenance techniques.
• Flexibility to work all three shifts, including weekends, with prior notice.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
