Pay Range: $30–$40/hr
Are you an experienced or aspiring X-Ray Technician ready to make a meaningful impact in patient care?
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to join an outstanding breast center in Essex County, NJ . This role focuses on bone density scanning (densitometry).
Full training on bone density scanning is available for the right candidate!
Position Overview:As an X-Ray Technician specializing in bone densitometry, you’ll play a vital role in patient care by producing accurate diagnostic images. You’ll work directly with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure a safe, efficient, and compassionate imaging experience.
Key Responsibilities:Clearly and compassionately explain procedures to patients
Ensure patient safety by reviewing screenings and obtaining consent
Accurately position patients and operate bone density equipment
Monitor patient condition and equipment performance during scans
Maintain complete and accurate records
Assist with routine equipment maintenance and quality checks
Collaborate with physicians and staff to streamline patient care
ARRT Certification preferred
Basic computer skills required
Experience in radiology or bone densitometry a plus
Competitive hourly pay: $30–$40/hr
