The Opportunity

As an Occupational Health Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in offering exceptional patient care within Employee Health services at our clinic in Paterson, WA. You will be responsible for independent nursing evaluations, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions regarding both work-related and personal health issues for employees. Additionally, you will contribute to promoting employee health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tasks independently or under provider supervision, adhering to legal standards of practice.
• Deliver efficient, high-quality occupational health and safety services.
• Adeptly triage workplace injuries/illnesses and provide suitable nursing interventions.
• Perform basic physical examinations and communicate findings effectively to both patients and providers.
• Evaluate workplace safety/health conditions and develop/present abatement plans to management and employees.
• Understand work processes and safety/health risks at on-site locations.
• Conduct occupational health surveillance testing including pulmonary function tests, respirator fit tests, audiometry, vision screenings, and drug screenings.
• Design and implement health/safety promotion strategies for individuals and groups.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1+ years of Registered Nursing experience required.
• Preferred experience in occupational health nursing, walk-in clinics, or emergency departments.
• Current, valid Registered Nurse licensure in Washington state or another state.
• Basic cardiac life support and first aid certifications must be current.

Compensation: $47-52 per hour
