Job Description

Part-Time Drafter (Approx. 16 hours/week, Onsite in Telford, PA)
Quality Lab Accessories (QLA), a trusted leader in dissolution accessories, is seeking a highly competent and motivated part time Drafter. 

About the Role
The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks and possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD. This role requires an individual who is a quick learner, can work with minimal direction, and has a strong understanding of proper dimensioning and drawing standards. You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining detailed technical drawings via our change process. This position is to work in-person 2 days a week, preferably Tuesday and Thursday.

What You’ll Do

• Create and revise 2D and 3D drawings and models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Dimension drawings accurately and logically to convey all necessary information for manufacturing and assembly.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation in a systematic manner.
• Proactively identify and resolve drafting-related issues.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior working experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Ability to create new drawings and/or modify existing drawings
• Experience updating a Bill of Materials.
• Experience using an Engineering Change process (ECR, ECN, ECO, etc)
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
