The Healthcare Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for “Phlebotomist III”.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary specimen collections for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Verify patient identity and labeling accuracy in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring quality and integrity of samples.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Deliver superior customer service, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction throughout the collection process.
• Accurately complete documentation and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Travel between assigned sites to provide coverage based on business needs, sometimes with minimal notice.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, supervisors, and healthcare providers to support operational efficiency.
• Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• At least 2 years in a patient service center or similar healthcare environment preferred.
• Customer service or retail experience a plus.

Additional Information:

• Location: Shakopee, MN
• Contract Length: temp with possible permanent
• Pay range: $25-$28/hr. on W2

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
