Summary
The Plant Operator is vital in the overall operation of the plant and facilities. Plant Operators perform the tasks necessary for the day-to-day operations and production of products.
This position is full-time during the first year of employment. Beginning in the second year, it transitions to a seasonal role, which includes a scheduled layoff period during the winter months.

This position requires its responsibilities to be performed in an asphalt emulsions manufacturing plant. Plants are outdoors and may require that work be done in adverse weather conditions. Work conditions may involve exposure to hot materials, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, gases, and other substances used in a construction environment.
