Who We’re Looking For The Digitalization specialist serves as a strategic leader and subject matter expert in the Pulp & Paper sector. His/her mission is to guide digital transformation initiatives, represent the organization in the broader industry, and identify opportunities where digital solutions can unlock value for manufacturers. Responsibilities Represent the organization in industry events, conferences, and working groups focused on industrial digitalization. Deliver presentations, write whitepapers, and participate in industry panels to promote digital transformation in the Pulp & Paper sector. Maintain a strong network with executives, plant leaders, vendors, and associations to stay informed on trends and opportunities. Lead digital discovery workshops to assess current-state challenges, maturity levels, and innovation potential across operations. Translate industry trends and client pain points into actionable opportunities for digital services or technology solutions. Guide clients in shaping their digital roadmaps, aligning with business goals and operational performance needs. Advise internal business development, operations, and solution teams on market dynamics, sector-specific needs, and solution positioning. Support cross-functional teams in the development of new offerings and go-to-market strategies tailored for the Pulp & Paper industry. Contribute to strategic account planning and growth initiatives. Eligibility Requirements Proven experience in the Pulp & Paper industry. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting in engineering, technology, or digital transformation. Strong sales and negotiation skills. Ability to build strategic relationships and engage with executive stakeholders. Analytical mindset to identify challenges and propose technical solutions. Clear and confident communication skills, including speaking at events. Willingness to travel as needed. Spanish or Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
