🔍 Quality Tester – Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Location: Clayville, NY | Pay: $19+/hr

🛠️ What You'll Do

As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Quality Tester , you’ll ensure our forging multiples meet rigorous industry standards through precision testing and inspection. Responsibilities include:

• Conduct ultrasonic, etch, and dimensional inspections to identify surface and subsurface defects
• Follow industry standards and internal quality control methods
• Maintain clean, calibrated, and properly functioning inspection equipment
• Record complete and accurate test results and inspection reports
• Perform multi-etch inspections and blasting of etched materials
• Prepare for and pass Level 1 ultrasonic inspector qualification
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the cell
• Help maintain immersion tanks for optimal testing accuracy
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety guidelines at all times
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed

Essential Skills

• Experience in quality inspection or testing
• Strong attendance and communication skills
• Willingness to work non-standard shifts
• Physically able to ascend/descend stairs, lift 25 lbs., and perform duties requiring mobility

Additional Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• U.S. Citizenship required due to contract specifications

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
