Osmo is a digital olfaction company on a mission to give computers a sense of smell to improve health and wellbeing. Generation is a fragrance house powered by Olfactory Intelligence (OI) to blend AI with perfumery, enabling brands to create emotionally resonant scents faster and with greater clarity. Osmo leverages automation and AI/ML to solve problems across industries and is headquartered in New York, NY, with a facility in New Jersey and offices in Somerville, MA.

Osmo is looking for a Recruiter who can connect people with purpose, share the Osmo story across all levels of talent, and build high-performing teams for our fragrance manufacturing facility and expansion. This role combines strategic vision, process excellence, and enthusiasm for engaging talent to support Osmos mission of innovation and excellence in digital olfaction.

Key Responsibilities


  • Recruit for diverse talent across manufacturing, operations, business, and specialized fragrance industry roles, aligned with Osmo's mission and values.
  • Support full-cycle recruiting across roles, from strategic sourcing to offer.
  • Utilize sourcing strategies (Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, etc.) to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify needs and craft recruitment strategies.
  • Leverage Ashby (or similar ATS) to streamline the hiring process and coordinate interviews on-site, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with HR to optimize recruitment workflows, meet tight hiring cycles, and enhance the candidate journey.
  • Proactively build and maintain robust talent pipelines to meet current and future needs, establishing connections and trust with candidates.
  • Champion the Osmo story, communicating Osmo's mission, culture, values, and opportunities.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field with 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across manufacturing, operations, and business functions.
  • Direct sourcing experience (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) with ability to build diverse pipelines for various roles.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms such as Ashby or Greenhouse.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with strong time and task management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Passionate about building teams and sharing excitement for Osmos journey.
  • Available to be onsite at least 3 days per week in NYC and NJ.


Ways to stand out
  • Experience in the fragrance industry or ability to quickly gain expertise to recruit top talent in this field.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment.
