Title: SAP Programming Consultant
Location: Columbia, SC 29201 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, review, debug, and unit test ABAP programs within SAP HCM modules.
• Collaborate with functional and business teams to design and implement efficient SAP solutions.
• Provide SAP support, including analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Perform data updates using tools like LSMW and EPI-USE Data Sync Manager.
• Work on WRICEF elements (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Conduct unit testing and develop test scripts.
• Apply OSS notes, software updates, and fixes as needed.
• Participate in project activities, documentation, and team improvement initiatives.
• Provide after-hours SAP support when required.
• Configure organizational and personnel structures and maintain enterprise structure elements.
• Retrieve and analyze SAP data using Ad Hoc Query, Report Painter, and SAP Tables.
• Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, or related field OR 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of SAP HCM functional experience in a professional environment.
• Understanding of SAP Portal Technology.
• Functional knowledge of SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Familiarity with Mail Services in SAP via standard API.
• General understanding of accounting processes.
• Knowledge of enterprise-level ERP applications.
• 1+ year of SAP Workflow experience.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in WRICEF development.
• Strong background with SAP LSMW/BDC programming (Session and Call Transaction).
• Knowledge of HR cluster tables and dynamic actions.
• Familiarity with Fiori-based portals and SAP LMS integration..
