RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Scrum Master. A Scrum Master plays a crucial role in Agile project management, ensuring that the Scrum framework is effectively implemented.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach Team Members: Guide team members on Agile practices and help them understand Scrum principles
Remove Obstacles: Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder the team's progress
Manage Timelines: Ensure that project timelines are adhered to and help the team stay on track
Coordinate with Stakeholders: Act as a liaison between the team and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication
Monitor Performance: Track the team's performance using tools like burndown charts and other metrics
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts
Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying issues and implementing solutions to improve workflow
Knowledge of Agile Frameworks: Deep understanding of Scrum and other Agile methodologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
