WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Love the view and food at Slopeside Pub and Grill? We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to provide a guest with an experience that is beyond their expectations and creates guests for life. This individual will join our slopeside team and serve the guests their food and beverages in a friendly manner!
REQUIRMENTS: - The desire to be an integral part of a growing restaurant team.
- The ability to provide outstanding guest service.
- The ability to communicate effectively amongst fellow employees and guests through exceptional interpersonal skills.
- A positive, Team Player attitude with a willingness to assist fellow servers, bus persons, and hosts during peak meal service hours.
- Time management skills while working in a fast-paced environment or under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of dining room procedures and foodservice operations
- Weekday and Weekend availability.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: - Responsibility for ensuring an exceptional meal experience for guests.
- Take guests' orders in a friendly and accurate fashion, demonstrating the knowledge and ability to answer questions about food and beverage offerings.
- Respond promptly and courteously to diners' requests or concerns.
- Perform side tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager or shift supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, trays, tables, and the restaurant overall
- Follow all cash and money handing procedures, ensuring guest payments are collected accurately and the house bank is consistently balanced.
- Availability to fill in for other roles as needed to ensure efficient operation of the dining room as directed by the restaurant manager or supervisor.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings as required.
