Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Join our team as a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 2pm to 10:30pm. Your primary responsibility will be to load material into the crusher for the smelter and allied equipment, ensuring efficient heating of materials to drive off impurities.

Responsibilities:

• Load material into the crusher for the smelter.
• Understand and follow established procedures to conduct work safely and effectively.
• Prepare and operate equipment such as a bobcat and shovel.
• Prepare materials to be loaded into the smelter.
• Participate in oxidation of alloy and related refining techniques under elevated temperatures.
• Record production or process data and maintain logs as required.
• Load hoppers inside and outside with skid steer and bobcat.
• Ensure products are loaded, crushed, and bagged efficiently.
• Perform computer work including data entry for volumes bagged using Excel.

Work Environment:

Work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions that may be hot, cold, dusty, and dirty. A respirator is required for certain tasks.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wartburg, TN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
