Substitute Teacher - Port Arthur ISD

We are hiring substitute teachers for Port Arthur Independent School District. No previous experience is required!

Substitutes are essential in ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day. Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educators, guest teacher or relief teacher.

• 18 years of age
• HS Diploma/GED
• 30+ hours of college credit (official transcripts required)

Pay Rate: $115.00/Day

Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Build a classroom environment that's conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
• For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lesson plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
