As a teacher within New York City’s leading network of K-12 charter schools, you will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on educating and empowering children from low-income neighborhoods to become confident thinkers and leaders, equipped to explore and discuss complex ideas, and prepared for college and their future aspirations. No prior educational experience is necessary. We offer comprehensive training and a proven curriculum, allowing you to concentrate on engaging with your students rather than creating lesson plans from scratch. There are also pathways to transition into school leadership roles, such as assistant principal, or to move to our network office. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree must be obtained before your first day of employment with our organization. A relevant and rigorous academic major (e.g., biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering). Ability to work on-site in New York City (a $2,500 stipend is available for eligible relocations). Experience supervising a classroom of 20 or more students.
