\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch
\n• Every other weekend schedule with 2 weekends per 4-week schedule required
\n• Night shifts available, first to float when needed
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5 on 48-bed telemetry unit (4A and 4B)
\n• Care for patients with COVID, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and general/orthopedic/spinal surgical patients
\n• Required to read basic telemetry strips and interpret/sign strips at least once per shift
\n• Must have experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA and TIA care
\n• Work with equipment including BiPap, CPAP, high flow oxygen, and breathing treatments
\n• Float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
\n• Cerner experience recommended as orientation is only one shift
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Self-scheduling used but subject to manager approval for balance
\n• Holiday requirement: work 2 days and 1 evening or 2 evenings and 1 day for Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving
\n• No call or standby requirements
\n• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract (3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks)
