Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring strong LDRP skills and a WA or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Birth Center of a hospital setting
• L&D unit with 12 L&D beds, 8 postpartum/antepartum beds, 3 OB/ED rooms, 2 OR, and a 6-bed level II NICU
• Care for antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum patients, including transition to discharge for both mom and baby
• Perform cervical exams, amnio infusions, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin administration, epidurals, APGAR scoring, and breastfeeding support
• Required to circulate C-sections and perform baby catching/receiving responsibilities
• 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Teal scrubs are provided
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Work with a diverse patient population including Russian and Spanish-speaking families
• No on-call requirements for this position
• NP on call for additional support
• Weekend rotation is every other weekend

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years total L&D experience, with at least 1 year in an LDRP environment
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring
• Experience circulating C-sections is required
• Comfort with all aspects of postpartum care from transition to discharge
• Scrub experience preferred but not required
• Ability to perform baby catching/receiving
• Multilingual abilities, especially Russian or Spanish, are preferred
