Job Details

• Performs duties in the following areas: Medical/Surgical Units, Telemetry, and Joint Replacement Center.
• Must be able and willing to work in all departments as needed and directed.
• Expected to take a full assignment on med/surg or telemetry units.
• May be floated as "Helping Hands" in the ED, psych, CCU, Childbirth center, but will not take assignments in those areas.

Job Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Must have professional nursing license with primary source verification within 30 days of start date
• MGB Dysrhythmia Exam with 80% passing score
• Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including MMR, Influenza Vaccine during flu season, Hepatitis B (strongly preferred), TB Test within 3 months of start date, Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days
• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date and updated annually
• Criminal background checks and CORI checks as per MGB policy
• MGB Skills Checklist required for submission
• References and education verification required

Schedule Information

• Contract length is 13 weeks

Unit Specific Information

• Works primarily on Medical/Surgical Units, Telemetry, and Joint Replacement Center

Additional Details

• MGB Badge Photo required for onboarding (color photo, plain background, no selfies or filters)
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions
