Warehouse Greens Lead (Warehouse Supervisor)

Location: Renton, WA
Pay: $22.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:30 AM PST - 3:30 PM PST
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-time
Start Date: Immediately

 

Simply Great Staffing is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Greens Lead for a well-established coffee roasting company in Renton, WA! This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with supervisory and forklift experience to take the lead in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment.

Position Summary:

As the Warehouse Greens Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the greens warehouse. You’ll ensure the integrity, organization, and efficiency of the space while leading a team and supporting inventory and production needs. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the integrity and appearance of the greens warehouse
• Organize the greens room to meet company standards
• Supervise and support employees unloading containers
• Delegate and review tasks assigned to the greens room crew
• Stage green coffee for roasters (R9 and Mezzanine Crew)
• Prepare and fulfill greens orders accurately
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory activities
• Report inventory loss to the Inventory Manager
• Collect greens samples and understand product lot coding
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area
• Train and develop employees on safety procedures
• Oversee and manage “Sell for Salvage” greens inventory
• Promptly report any employee safety, food safety, or quality concerns

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse lead or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience (preferred)
• Forklift certification required
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and occasionally unload containers
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and lead a team
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience using inventory management software to fulfill orders
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and dusty environments
• Self-motivated and able to work quickly and safely

• Monday to Friday
• 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• 8-hour shifts
