Participation opportunities are offered at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, 'C' Team, 9th-grade, 8th-grade, and 7th-grade levels of competition for many of the sponsored sports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teaching sports techniques, playing rules, strategies, and tactics. Conditioning athletes for endurance, strength, and agility. Supervising practices, contests, locker rooms, and buses safely. Teaching sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, and responsibility. Monitoring athletes' school attendance, grades, and conduct. Responding to injuries with approved first aid techniques. Managing uniforms, equipment, and facilities responsibly. Additional Information Vacancies are developed at each school and forwarded for posting. Candidates are screened and interviewed by the athletic director and/or principal.
