As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel in accordance with established protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment within a manufacturing and industrial setting.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entry and exit points as directed by site-specific procedures.
  • Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
