THE ROLE
Peloton is seeking a Senior Field Testing Program Manager to join our Field Testing Team. This is a great opportunity to join an exceptional team of Engineers, Project/Program Managers and QA personnel working on the connected devices that are shaping our current and next generation products.
The Senior Field Testing Program Manager is a critical role responsible for the overall strategy, leadership, and execution of all software beta tests run by the Field Testing team. This requires working with external vendors and supporting the Peloton cross-functional product team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and drive the software beta arm of Peloton’s Field Testing Team.
Lead and define multiple projects within a program across multiple geographical locations and time zones into well-defined milestones and timeframes based on business need.
Manage project scope, project plan, activities and document the plan for meetings and reporting purposes.
Manage continuous beta tests as well as adhoc beta test requests. Determining the appropriate methodology for each test objectives.
‘Join the dots’ from feedback surveys, testers issues and ideas, alongside product knowledge to present a ‘complete’ member feedback view to stakeholders
Present test findings to stakeholders in digestible and actionable feedback, telling a story with the data.
Seek out sources to improve team product knowledge in order to provide guidance to team members across products and programs
Anticipates issues and makes considered decisions to avoid them within programs and project and advise other team members to help them do the same
Champion test findings to work towards action, collaborating with stakeholders and facilitating cross-functional communication.
Liaise with other team members in order to drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives.
Set and meet commitments. Create feedback plans and provide regular status updates communicating progress towards commitments.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years experience in program management, in particular with beta test projects as a plus, as part of a product/tech company, agency, or research consultancy.
You are self-motivated, willing to take action, pragmatic, and intellectually curious.
Experience with highly confidential beta test participant recruitment.
Experience dealing with beta testers, managing communication to testers, thinking from the tester perspective (how to make testing the best experience it can be for testers)
Exceptional project management and organizational skills and understanding of prioritization needs
Strong presentation skills and interest in public speaking
Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key stakeholders for decision making.
The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a Can-Do attitude.
Self-starter who is able to identify gaps and opportunities to create more efficient processes.
Expertise with Google apps and the usual Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
Jira/Confluence and Centercode experience a plus.
